Leah works with children in a range of different contexts, including establishing and managing speech and language therapy services in school settings. Leah has been invited to speak about the work she has carried out in schools in a range of professional events and conferences in the United Kingdom, and has provided advisory services to schools and speech and language therapy services in London and the South East of England. In 2015, Leah led the team which was highly commended at the “Shine a Light Awards”, from Pearson Assessment and The Communication Trust (a leading coalition of UK based charities supporting young people’s speech, language and communication) in recognition of work carried out to support, develop and promote the importance of children’s communication skills.
