About Us

The school houses four sections, two of which, are divided on the basis of gender, and the other sections , designated to junior & kindergarten students. These wings are specialized in different ways, to cater to the students belonging to them.

Our school also comprises of a house system, where each student, is affiliated with a particular house, named after famous personalities in Indian & world history. Personalities such as Abdul KalamMother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, and Rabindranath Tagore. Students of these houses compete in various extra-curricular activities in the fields of sports, arts, and sciences, representing their houses, and leading them to victory.

As you can see, Ideal Indian School is a one-of-a-kind learning experience for young minds. We would be more than happy to have your child studying with us.


Boys' Section

The Boys' Section of Ideal Indian School has classes from Std V to Std XII. The Section has fully equipped laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering drawing. There is an activity room to conduct activities and seminars etc. It is equipped with multimedia projector and T.V. There are separate computer laboratories for senior and junior students. The wing has a multiple play area to play Basket Ball, Tennis, badminton and volley ball. It has a flood lit cricket ground. Students have excelled in the fields of sports, particularly in Athletics and cricket. Few students have represented Qatar National Cricket team in different age groups. It has a large library with sufficient number of books and number of magazines and news papers are regularly subscribed. Students take part in most of the activities conducted in Doha and excel in these activities like Art, Debates, extempore, G.K.Quiz, Mathematics Quiz, National and international Science and Mathematics Olympiads, Chemistry and Computer Olympiads, G.K and UN information Tests.

Students also take part in Islamic programs like debates , and Quran Memorisation competitions and excel in these competitions. Every year Hindi diwas, Urdu day and language days are celebrated. To develop the talents students are divided into four Houses and inter house competitions are arranged. Most of the activities are organized by the students. The prefects help teachers to maintain discipline in the school. Number of students and staff are members of Toast Master Club. It also has a Canteen.


Girls' Section

The girls section of the Ideal Indian School houses the girl students from classes V to XII. The state of the art facilities include well equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry. Biology, informatics and engineering graphics. A library to quench every child's thirst for knowledge and airy activity hall to encourage indoor games and literary activities, music and dance rooms for those artistically bent their minds are a few to mention.

Students have done us proud by their continuous efforts adding feathers our cap every now and then. Be it athletics or music, dance or elocution, scientific debates or quiz contests, Quran recitation or drawing and painting. Our students never fail to participate in the spirit of healthy competition and bring home laurels adding sheer to the already shining hall of fame. Discipline is maintained and given paramount, importance along with an equal paramount importance along with an equal dose of value education which is what ultimately makes or mars a child. Teachers and students leaders keep their watchful eyes always open to keep the wheels rolling in order.

Students are encouraged to participate in the various inter house activities which nurture the sprightly spirit to participate and co operate with their peers.

Junior Section

The Junior Section of Ideal Indian School accommodates the students from classes I to IV. The current student strength of this wing is 2118 with a staff of 79 teachers, all well qualified , dedicated and well experienced. Each class has 12-15 sections with a total of 50 classes. In addition to this, this wing also has a Resource Room, a class room for children with special needs. There are at present 10 students in this section. This section is under the care of Ms. Geetha K, the special educator.

The Speech Therapist, Ms. Anita Sharma and the school counselor, Mr. Riyaz also work from here. Both written and oral test are conducted at regular intervals to test the learning skills of the student. The Section has its own well equipped computer laboratory to keep its students abreast with the modern technology. It has a large playground and an activity room to conduct various activities.

All these activities help the students to develop an all round personality and be good citizens of the future. The students also participate in many inter-school competitions. The Head Boy and Head Girl assisted by prefects from class III and IV help teachers in inculcating discipline among their peers.


KG Section

Children between the age of 3 and 5 are ready for kindergarten school. As the child gets the first experience of school life over here, we at Ideal Indian School focus on value education, personal attention and developing written and spoken skills. Emphasis is on a wide range of activities and competitions held throughout the tear like Earth day, World food day, children�s day, Qatar environment day, Action song, recitation, Fancy dress, Dance, Art and Craft competitions.

Sports and Annual Day bring out the talents of our little ones. Field trips are arranged to the Zoo, Al Bidda park, the supermarket, Bakery. We encouraged the maximum number of children to participate. We also have the graduation day in March for KG II students.

A child's first experiences of school are some of the most important experiences in life, setting an approach to learning that can become a lifetime's habit.

The early childhood years focus on learning through experience, interaction and inquiry. Classrooms are vibrant and colorful centres of happy activity. Parents will enjoy the class presentations, assemblies and performances which occur throughout the year. They can watch their child develop social and academic skills day by day.

We celebrate colours week emphasizing on the primary colours. Children and teachers come dressed as per the colour for the day.

Fruits day –The importance of fruits is emphasized. Children bring fresh fruits and fruit salad is prepared.
