Opened in 2005, Al Khor Hospital is a 115-bed general hospital providing healthcare services to the population of the northern region of Qatar.

Al Khor Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to its diverse and growing community by integrating medical care, education and research. Since opening, Al Khor Hospital has been recognized for its pioneering achievements in the healthcare service and received Joint Commission International accreditation in 2006 and was re-accredited in 2009 and 2012.

The hospital hosts an Antenatal and Postnatal Exercise Center, which is unique to HMC, as well as a Breastfeeding Resource Center – an important step in Al Khor Hospital’s endeavor to attain recognition by the World Health Organization as a baby-friendly hospital.
